DOTE Coffee Bar + Roastery has always believed in spreading the good vibes to everyone through their beverages. With that in mind, DOTE always looks for other ways to bring joy to their customers with every visit. Meet the integral member, acting as the Chief Happiness Officer, Cheddar!
Who exactly is Cheddar?
Named after the Corgi found on the popular show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Cheddar is actually the co-owner's lovable pet Corgi. She often visits the DOTE branch located at the Clubhouse at Acropolis Loyola whenever she's bored and wants to hang around the café. She would often stay at the café the whole day with Jonas, her owner, just to keep him and the customers company. Having her around is enough to brighten everyone's visits to DOTE.
Why did DOTE hire Cheddar as the Chief Happiness Officer?
"An Antidote for Good Vibes" may be DOTE's official tagline, but the overall mission is to share the joy to our guests through every means available. It only felt natural to make Cheddar an extension of spreading the good vibes to everyone.
At home, hearing Cheddar run towards you is more than enough to put a smile on anyone's face. Being greeted by a dog who wants nothing more than seeing you–who could say NO to that? Everyone believes that dogs never fake their happiness. It's always pure genuine excitement around them.
With Cheddar already being a regular face at our first ever location, DOTE wishes to share that kind of happiness with its visitors. Her job is to greet customers with a smile, then make sure that they leave with an even bigger one.
What can you expect from DOTE's Chief Happiness Officer?
Whether visitors are there to play pickleball, basketball, go swimming, or simply just buying a drink for themselves, people at DOTE can expect to be greeted by Cheddar when they enter the Clubhouse at Acropolis Loyola! She never fails to approach anyone new, and don't worry, she doesn't bite!

Cheddar is also being incorporated into DOTE merchandise, such as tote bags. As the Chief Happiness Officer, she hopes that those who carry this bag would also bring her joy everywhere they go!
